Lowrance Elite FS 7 All-Season Pack Boat + Ice Fishing Combo

The Lowrance Elite FS 7 All-Season Pack is the bundled package that lets you use one fishfinder for both open-water boat fishing AND ice fishing - covers the full year of fishing applications without needing two separate fishfinders. The Elite FS 7 head unit comes with both the boat-side HDI skimmer transducer (transom mount for use on the boat) and the ice-specific transducer (drops through an ice auger hole for hardwater fishing), plus the ice-fishing mounting platform, carrying bag, lithium battery, and charger that complete the ice-fishing setup. For anglers who fish open water in the warm months and ice fishing in the cold months, the All-Season Pack is meaningfully cheaper than buying separate boat-side and ice-side fishfinder setups.

The Elite FS 7 head unit. The Elite FS (Elite Fishing System) is Lowrance's mid-tier fishfinder line - sits between the entry-level HOOK Reveal series and the premium HDS LIVE / HDS PRO flagship lines. The FS 7 specifically is the 7-inch screen variant. The Elite FS positioning gives you the full Lowrance modern fishfinder feature set (all the sonar modes, full chart support, ActiveTarget Live Sonar compatibility, Power Pole / Ghost integration) at a meaningfully lower price than the HDS flagship - the right balance of capability and cost for serious recreational anglers who don't need the absolute top-tier features.

7-inch full HD multi-touch touchscreen with >1200 nit brightness. The 7-inch screen is sized for the typical mid-size bass / walleye boat or small offshore boat helm. The full HD resolution gives sharp chart and sonar detail. The >1200 nit screen brightness is meaningful for sunlight readability - bright enough to see clearly even in direct overhead sun (cheaper fishfinders with 500-700 nit screens wash out in bright daylight). Multi-touch touchscreen handles the modern gestures (single-finger pan, pinch zoom, two-finger rotate) you expect from a modern marine display.

ActiveTarget Live Sonar ready. ActiveTarget is Lowrance's live-imaging sonar - real-time view of fish swimming around and below the boat, displayed as actual moving fish silhouettes on screen. Watch fish respond to your lure presentation in real time, see exactly where fish are holding relative to your jig position, identify fish species by motion patterns. ActiveTarget transducer is sold separately - the Elite FS 7 is "ready" for it (has the processing capability and the connection ports) but doesn't include the transducer in the All-Season Pack. For serious live-imaging fishing applications, add an ActiveTarget transducer.

Active Imaging 3-in-1 ready (CHIRP + SideScan + DownScan with FishReveal). Active Imaging is Lowrance's modern high-resolution sonar suite. Three sonar modes in one transducer body: CHIRP traditional sonar (high-resolution vertical fish detection), SideScan (photo-like side imaging out to 250+ feet on each side of the boat), DownScan (sharp top-down imaging directly under the boat). FishReveal is the Lowrance-exclusive feature that overlays CHIRP fish targets onto the DownScan image - so you see fish AND the structure they're holding on, on the same screen. The Elite FS 7 ships with C-MAP Contour+ inland and coastal charts preloaded - 15,000+ U.S. lakes and 9,400+ Canadian lakes covered with 1-foot bathymetric contour lines. For inland fishing in North America, the preloaded charts cover essentially every fishable lake. The 1-foot contour resolution is meaningfully sharper than the typical 5-foot or 10-foot contours of older chart products - lets you identify subtle bottom features (ledges, drop-offs, ditches, brush piles) that productive fish hold near. For premium charts beyond the included Contour+, additional C-MAP, Navionics, or Lowrance C-MAP Genesis Live charts are supported via the SD card slot.

C-MAP Easy Routing and Navionics Autorouting. Both routing systems are supported - input your destination and the chartplotter computes a safe route based on chart depth data, charted obstructions, and your boat's draft / beam dimensions. Routing is meaningful for unfamiliar water (saves the manual route-building time of plotting waypoints around hazards) and for night fishing (the autorouting follows the safer water rather than risking shortcut routes through unmarked obstacles).

C-MAP Genesis Live onscreen mapping. Genesis Live is the live-mapping feature - draws contour lines as you fish, building a real-time map of the bottom in your fishing area. Useful for finding productive structure on subsequent trips - your previous fishing data informs where you should fish next time. Genesis Live works in both boat and ice modes, so you build your fishing-area map across all seasons.

Power Pole + Ghost trolling motor control. The Elite FS 7 has full touchscreen control of Power-Pole shallow-water anchors and the Lowrance Ghost trolling motor. Deploy / retract the Power-Pole anchors with on-screen buttons. Control the Ghost trolling motor's GPS-anchor, speed, and direction from the Elite FS 7 screen. For boats running both a Power-Pole and a Ghost, the Elite FS 7 becomes the centralized control point for the boat's fishing electronics - replaces multiple separate proprietary controllers with one screen.

Wireless, NMEA 2000, and Ethernet connectivity. Three communication standards built in. Wireless: Wi-Fi for app integration (the C-MAP Embark app for chart updates, Genesis Live cloud sync) and Bluetooth for accessory pairing. NMEA 2000: connects to engine data, fuel sensors, AIS receivers, autopilot, and the broader marine sensor ecosystem. Ethernet: 1 virtual port for connecting to additional Lowrance fishfinders for shared sonar and chart data. The combination handles any modern marine network integration the Elite FS 7 owner might want.

Ice-fishing setup details. The All-Season Pack's ice-fishing components: ice-specific transducer (small footprint that drops through an 8-inch ice auger hole, silicone-coated cable for cold-weather flexibility), suction cup mount (for the ice transducer's hole positioning), mounting platform (the ice-fishing carrier that holds the head unit and transducer together), 12V lithium battery (lighter and better cold-weather performance than lead-acid), charger for the lithium battery, and carrying bag for transporting the entire ice-fishing setup. The ice setup converts the Elite FS 7 from boat-fishing mode to ice-fishing mode - same head unit, different transducer and mounting hardware.

The lithium battery. The included lithium (LiFePO4) battery delivers full voltage at 0 degrees F where lead-acid sags badly. Roughly 4 lbs versus 12-15 lbs for an equivalent lead-acid - meaningful when carrying gear across the ice. Cycle life is 1000+ versus 200-300 for lead-acid, so the battery is a long-term investment rather than a wear item. The included charger is rated for the LiFePO4 chemistry - using a lead-acid charger on lithium can damage the battery, so the matched charger / battery pair is the right setup.

Carrying bag. The included bag holds the entire ice-fishing setup (head unit, transducer, battery, mounting platform, charger) for transport across the ice. Padded interior protects the head unit from impact. Multiple compartments organize the components for quick deployment when you reach your fishing spot.

Five-year warranty coverage option. The base warranty is one year. Lowrance offers four additional years of upgrade options that extend coverage to five years total - longer than the typical 2-3 year warranties on competing fishfinders. Check Lowrance's warranty extension options at registration.

Install (boat-side). For boat use, mount the HDI skimmer transducer on the transom (typical install), run the cable to the head unit at the helm, mount the head unit using the supplied bracket. Wire 12V power to the head unit. Total boat install time is typically 2-4 hours. Ice setup is plug-and-play (everything in the included carrying bag, no permanent install required).
