Raymarine Micro-Talk Gateway Product Description
Imagine slicing through choppy waters with pinpoint wind data lighting up your displays, giving you that edge in every tack and gybe. The Raymarine Micro-Talk Gateway transforms your boat's instrument setup by bridging the gap between cutting-edge wireless sensors and your trusty wired systems. This compact powerhouse connects Raymarine's Micronet wireless devices—like solar-powered wind transmitters—with SeaTalkng networks, autopilots, and multifunction displays, delivering real-time data on wind angle, speed, depth, boat speed, heading, GPS, and more.
For performance sailors, it's a game-changer. Pair it with wireless wind vanes and transducers for ultra-light installations that don't add weight aloft. Sophisticated algorithms correct for airflow disruptions from sails and heel angles, while optional mast rotation sensing ensures accurate true wind on wing-sail boats or canting-keel racers. No more guesswork—get laylines, polar tables, and tactical overlays on your MFD to outmaneuver the fleet.
Seamless Integration for Any Sailing Setup
Whether you're retrofitting an older SeaTalk system or building a hybrid rig from scratch, this gateway simplifies everything. It plugs directly into your SeaTalkng backbone, wirelessly linking Micronet devices without a tangle of cables. Cruisers love the low-power draw and solar compatibility, keeping systems humming on long passages. Racers appreciate the fast refresh rates—up to 10Hz for wind data—ensuring your decisions are based on fresh, reliable intel.
The waterproof, surface-mount design thrives in harsh marine environments, from salty spray to tropical downpours. Mount it on a bulkhead, rail, or pole (adapters sold separately), and you're ready to sail harder. It even supports NMEA 2000 via adapters, opening doors to broader ecosystem compatibility.
Unlock Precision Wind Data Like Never Before
- Enhanced Wind Accuracy: Patented yaw and airflow corrections eliminate errors from mast motion or sail interference, delivering true wind strength and angle.
- Real-Time Performance Metrics: High-speed data flow powers layline calculations, start timers, and routing on compatible displays.
- Mast Rotation Magic: Tracks wing mast angles for catamarans and high-tech racers, feeding precise data to your instruments.
- Effortless Wireless Freedom: Connect lightweight, solar-charged Micronet gear—no drilling or wiring hassles.
- Power-Sipping Efficiency: Draws minimal current, perfect for battery-conscious setups.
