Airmar’s low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band is the deep water performer delivering excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation and delivers tremendous deep water performance.
Tilted element transducers have the ceramic element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. The transducer is installed almost flush to the hull and the tilted element corrects for the hull deadrise by orienting the beam directly down. This assures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.

Recommended hull size: maximum 11 m (36'). Bronze shell (B175L) is also available. Model is suitable for fiberglass Airmar's low-key Chirp-ready sensor model with exclusive Xducer ID technology and wood hull is a perfect complement to small boats such as the center console. The low frequency band is for deep-water performers, providing excellent coverage and tracking at deeper depths. The SS175L sensor can provide up to 20 k-Hz total bandwidth with only one installation and has excellent deep water performance. The ceramic element of the tilt transducer is fixed in the transducer housing at an angle of 20°, 12° or 0°. The transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, and the tilting element corrects the dead angle of the hull by directly directing the beam downward. This ensures that the greatest degree of echo is returned to the transducer and a more accurate depth reading is obtained. -Specification weight 2.7 kg (6 lbs) heavy hull-Sound insulation windows up to 24°-Urethane hole size 98 mm (3-7/8 inch") seven internal broadband ceramic components
