Model: SS175C-0-L- Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor
- 1 kW
- Low Frequency: 40 kHz to 60 kHz with maximum depth performance to 762 m (2500') = 32° to 21° beamwidth
- Great deep water performance
- High performance, low-profile thru-hull housing provides good resolution at speed when installed properly
- Stainless steel housing for use on stepped, planing or displacement hulls in fiberglass, wood or metal
- Recommended boat size: Up to 11 m (36')
- Also available in a bronze housing (B175L) model for use in fiberglass and wood hulls
- Exclusive Xducer ID® technology
Airmar’s low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band is the deep water performer delivering excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation and delivers tremendous deep water performance.
Tilted element transducers have the ceramic element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. The transducer is installed almost flush to the hull and the tilted element corrects for the hull deadrise by orienting the beam directly down. This assures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.

Model: SS175C-0-L depth and fast response water temperature sensor 1 kW low frequency: 40 k-Hz to 60 k-Hz, maximum depth performance up to 762 m (2500') = 32° to 21° beam width excellent deep water performance correct After installation, the high-performance, low-profile hull shell can provide good speed resolution. Stainless steel shell can be used for glass fiber, wood or metal ladder, planing or drainage hull. Recommended hull size: maximum 11 m (36') also available Bronze shell (B175L) model for fiberglass and wood hull. The exclusive Xducer ID technology Airmar's low-key Chirp-ready sensor model is a perfect complement to small boats such as medium-sized consoles. The low frequency band is for deep-water performers, providing excellent coverage and tracking at deeper depths. The SS175L sensor can provide up to 20 k-Hz total bandwidth with only one installation and has excellent deep water performance. The ceramic element of the tilt transducer is fixed in the transducer housing at an angle of 20°, 12° or 0°. The transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, and the tilting element corrects the dead angle of the hull by directly directing the beam downward. This will ensure the maximum return of the echo to the transducer and obtain a more accurate depth reading. -Specification weight 2.7 kg (6 lbs) heavy hull-Sound insulation windows up to 24°-Polyurethane hole size 98 mm (3-7/8 inch") seven internal broadband ceramic components
