Airmar SS175C-20-MThru Hull 20 Deg Tilt Medium CHIRP With Navico 9-Pin Product Description
1 kW
The SS175M's medium frequency delivers the right combination of coverage under the boat, extended depth range, and the ability to produce clean and accurate target and structure returns in mid to deeper water. Medium frequency also provides excellent shallow to mid-depth performance, bottom detail, and fish-target separation. Operating at a frequency range of 85 to 135 kHz, this transducer reveals fish at medium depths of up to 457 m (1500') and delivers ultra-clear target resolution.
Airmar's Tilted Element transducers have the element fixed at a 20°, 12°, or 0° angle within the housing. Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise. It orients the ceramic element horizontally to ensure maximum echo returns to the transducer.
The SS175M is available in three Tilted Element models:
- Fixed 20° tilted version for 16 to 24° hull deadrise angles
- Fixed 12° tilted version for 8 to 15° hull deadrise angles
- Fixed 0° tilted version for 0 to 7° hull deadrise angles

Rely on Airmar’s new broadband transducers for your ultimate fishing mission. Whether you’re a commercial fisherman, charter captain, or tournament angler, there’s a new game in town! Chirp transducers enable bottom detection down to 3,000m (10,000’) with 5 to 10 times greater detail and resolution so precise it’s possible to distinguish between individual baitfish, game fish, and underwater structures. One transducer delivers up to 80 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation, saving customers time and money.
This transducer is designed for smaller boats up to 36 feet (11 m).
