Sea-Dog's 1 AWG red battery cable is tinned copper marine wire built for the high-current runs on your boat, starter cable, house banks, inverter feeds, and windlass power. It ships as a 50-foot spool with bare ends so you cut and crimp to length. UL and ABYC certified, and tinned to shrug off salt and bilge corrosion for the long haul.

Sea-Dog's 1 AWG battery cable is the heavy stuff you reach for when a circuit has to move real current without heating up. Think starter runs, house battery banks, inverter feeds, and windlass power on anything from a center console to a 40-foot cruiser. It's tinned copper marine wire, red jacketed for your positive side, and it ships as a 50-foot spool with bare ends so you cut and terminate it to your own boat.

The reason we push tinned cable over plain copper is simple. Salt air and bilge moisture will wick up into an untinned conductor and turn it green from the inside out, and once corrosion starts creeping up the strands your voltage drop climbs and your connections get flaky.
