Coleman Mach Ducted Chill Grille 8430A6321, White — Product description

This is the lateral ducted Chill Grille ceiling assembly for Coleman Mach rooftop air conditioners, finished in white. It routes cooled air into your RV's in-roof ducting and pushes it out the sides for even, quiet distribution. Built to run off a wall thermostat. Just know it ships without a control box, so you'll reuse or order that separately.

If you're rebuilding or upgrading the interior side of a Coleman Mach ducted rooftop air conditioner, this is the lateral ducted Chill Grille you need. It's the white ceiling assembly that sits under the rooftop unit and takes the cold air the AC produces, then feeds it into the ducting that runs through your RV's roof.

The lateral in-roof ducting part matters. Instead of dumping cold air straight down into one spot, this grille pushes it out the sides into the channels built into your roof. From there it travels down the coach and comes out at registers in the bedroom, the galley, wherever your rig is ducted. You get more even cooling and a lot less of that one freezing seat right under the vent.

Air discharge is out the sides, which is what makes the ducted layout work. And because it's set up for a wall thermostat, you control the whole system from a panel on the wall instead of reaching up to fiddle with knobs on the ceiling. That's the Coleman Mach setup a lot of newer coaches came with from the factory.

One thing to know before you buy. This assembly ships without a control box. If your existing control box is still good, you'll reuse it. If it's not, you'll need to order the matching box separately so the system can actually switch the compressor and fan. It's a common way these parts are sold, and it keeps you from paying for electronics you already have.

The white finish blends into most RV ceilings without drawing attention. It's a genuine Coleman replacement part, MPN 8430A6321, so it drops into a Mach ducted system the way the original did. If you're not sure this is the right assembly for your unit, check the part number on your current grille before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Does this Chill Grille include a control box?

No. It ships without a control box. If your existing box is still good, reuse it. Otherwise order the matching control box separately so the system can switch the compressor and fan.

What kind of ducting does it use?

Lateral in-roof ducting. Cooled air feeds into the channels built into your roof and discharges out the sides, then travels to the registers around the coach.

How is this unit controlled?

By a wall thermostat. You set the temperature from a wall-mounted control instead of knobs on the ceiling assembly.

What color is it?

White, so it blends into most RV ceilings.

Which air conditioners does it fit?

Coleman Mach rooftop air conditioners set up for ducted, side-discharge air distribution. Check the part number on your current grille before ordering to confirm the match.

Is this a genuine Coleman part?

Yes. It's a genuine Coleman replacement, manufacturer part number 8430A6321.
