Coleman-Mach 8 Plus 15,000 BTU RV Rooftop Air Conditioner — Product description

The Coleman-Mach 8 Plus puts 15,000 BTU of cooling on your RV roof in a low-profile package. It fits a standard 14 by 14 inch vent opening, runs ducted or non-ducted on 120-volt power, and wears a textured Arctic White finish that holds up in the sun. It's the cooling unit on its own, so plan to add the matching ceiling assembly.

The Coleman-Mach 8 Plus is the low-profile rooftop air conditioner you rig up when you want serious cooling without a big box hanging over your rig. It puts out 15,000 BTU, runs on standard 120-volt shore power, and the compressor pulls about 12.1 amps under load. That's enough muscle to pull down the heat in most travel trailers and fifth wheels on a hot afternoon.

It fits a standard 14-inch by 14-inch vent opening, so it drops right into the spot where your old unit or roof vent lived. You can run it ducted or non-ducted, which makes it flexible whether your coach already has ceiling ductwork or you're cooling a single open space. The Arctic White textured finish keeps the cabinet cooler in direct sun and blends in with most factory roofs.

Couple things to know before you order. This is the cooling unit only. There's no heat pump and no built-in condensate pump, and the ceiling assembly has to be ordered separately to match your setup. Get both, and you're ready to install.

Frequently asked questions

Will this fit my existing roof opening?

It's built for a standard 14-inch by 14-inch vent opening, the same size most RV rooftop units and roof vents use, so it drops into that cutout.

Can I run it ducted or non-ducted?

Both. You can connect it to your coach's ceiling ductwork or run it as a single non-ducted unit cooling one open space.

Does it include the ceiling assembly?

No. The ceiling assembly is ordered separately so you can match it to your setup, so plan on adding one to your order.

Does it have a heat pump?

No. This is a cooling-only unit with no built-in heat pump and no condensate pump.

What power does it need?

It runs on standard 120-volt power and the compressor draws about 12.1 amps under load, so a properly sized RV electrical system handles it fine.
