Coleman Mach 8 15,000 BTU Low-Profile RV Rooftop Air Conditioner — Product description

The Coleman Mach 8 is a low-profile rooftop air conditioner built for RV life. It packs 15,000 BTU of cooling into a unit just 8.3 inches tall, so you clear low garages and shed highway wind. Runs ducted or non-ducted on 120-volt power, with a built-in condensate pump to keep roof water off your sidewalls.

The Coleman Mach 8 is built for RVers who want serious cooling without a tall, boxy unit on the roof. At just 8.3 inches tall, it keeps your rig's profile low for garages, tree cover, and highway wind. You still get a full 15,000 BTU, enough to keep a mid to large travel trailer or fifth wheel comfortable on a hot afternoon.

It runs on standard 120-volt shore power and pulls 12.7 amps at the compressor, so it works with a typical 30-amp hookup. The built-in condensate pump moves water off the roof instead of letting it drip down your sidewalls and streak the paint. Run it ducted or non-ducted, so it drops into most 14 by 14 inch roof vent openings whether your coach has ductwork or not.

One thing to know before you order. This is the AC unit itself in textured black. The ceiling assembly, the part that mounts inside and holds the controls, is sold separately. And it's cooling only, there's no heat pump built in.

Frequently asked questions

How many BTU is the Coleman Mach 8?

It puts out 15,000 BTU of cooling, which handles most mid to large travel trailers and fifth wheels.

Does this unit include the ceiling assembly?

No. This is the rooftop AC unit only. The interior ceiling assembly with the controls is ordered separately, so you can match it to your coach.

Will it fit my roof?

It's designed for standard 14 by 14 inch roof vent openings and works ducted or non-ducted, so it fits most RV roofs either way.

Does it heat as well as cool?

No, this model is cooling only. It doesn't have a heat pump built in.

What power does it need?

It runs on 120-volt AC power and draws 12.7 amps at the compressor, so a standard 30-amp shore hookup runs it fine.
