Camco built the Level VII kit for one moment: the first time you pull your new motorhome into a site and realize you need a dozen things all at once. Instead of running around a parts counter guessing, you get the core hookup gear in a single bucket. Fresh water in, waste water out, power at the pedestal, and tank care to keep everything smelling right. It's the setup a lot of us wish we'd been handed on day one.

The heart of the kit is the TastePURE 25-foot drinking water hose. This is a real potable-water hose, not a garden hose. It's built lead-free and BPA-free, so the water coming to your galley tastes like water and not like warm plastic. Twenty-five feet gives you enough reach to hit the spigot at most sites without stretching, and the reinforced wall resists kinking when it gets dragged across gravel.

Right behind it is the brass water pressure regulator, and this one quietly saves you from expensive trouble. Campground water pressure is all over the map. Some parks run gentle, and some will hammer your RV plumbing hard enough to blow a fitting behind a wall. The regulator threads on at the spigot and knocks that incoming pressure down to a level your lines and connections can live with. Brass holds up to sun and seasons far better than the plastic versions, so it's the one you want feeding your coach.

On the waste side you get a 15-foot standard sewer hose with the fittings already included. It connects your motorhome's dump valve to the campground sewer or the dump station, and the fittings give you a clean seal at both ends. Fifteen feet covers the reach at most typical sites. When you're done, it collapses down for storage in a bumper or a bay.

Tank care is handled by three TST Orange drop-ins and a four-pack of RV toilet tissue. The TST packets go straight into your black tank and get to work on odor and on breaking down waste and paper, so nothing turns into a clog you have to deal with later. The tissue is 1-ply and made to dissolve fast in a holding tank, which is exactly what you want down there. Regular household paper doesn't break down the same way, and it's a common reason new owners end up with a stopped-up tank and a bad afternoon.

Power is covered by a 15-amp male to 30-amp female Power Grip adapter. If you roll into a spot with only a standard household-style outlet, or you're parked at home charging up before a trip, this adapter lets you connect your 30-amp RV cord to that 15-amp source. The Power Grip design gives you molded handles, so you can pull the plug without yanking on the cord. Just remember a 15-amp source won't run everything at once, so go easy on the big draws like the air conditioner.

A quick word on setup order the first time out. Thread the pressure regulator onto the spigot, then run the drinking water hose from the regulator to your city water inlet. Connect the sewer hose from your dump valve to the sewer fitting and keep the tank valves closed until you're actually ready to dump. Drop a TST packet in the toilet with a little water, and you're set. It sounds like a lot on paper. After you've done it once, the whole hookup takes about five minutes.
