Camco FasTen 44525 RV Leveling Blocks 4x2 Brown 10-Pack

If you've ever spent twenty minutes rocking your camper back and forth trying to get the fridge to sit level, the Camco FasTen 44525 blocks are the fix. This is a set of ten brown interlocking blocks that stack together like building bricks. You use them to level your RV while it's parked, and once you've done it a few times the whole thing takes about a minute. Pull up onto the stack, chock the wheels, and you're set for the night.

The trick with FasTen is the interlocking design. Each block has a nub-and-slot pattern on the top and bottom, so when you stack two or three of them they lock into each other instead of sliding apart under weight. Build a short graduated ramp with a couple of blocks leading up to the tall part, then slowly drive the low wheel up until a bubble level on the counter reads flat. Need more height? Add another block. Too much? Pull one off. It's that simple, and because the blocks grip each other you don't get the shift and slide you fight with loose wood scraps or single pads.

Most folks level side to side first. Pull out a small bubble level, set it across a doorway or a countertop, and see which side sits low. Build your ramp on the low side, drive up, and re-check. Once you're level left to right, do the same front to back with the tongue jack or the landing gear. Because the blocks lock together, the stack stays put while you nudge the rig up onto it.

One set handles most jobs. You can level a single wheel, run a wider base under dual wheels, or bridge a tandem axle so both tires climb the ramp together. The 4 x 2 footprint gives each block a solid contact patch, and you can splay the set out to support a wider tire or stack it narrow under a jack. If you tow a heavy fifth wheel, spreading two blocks wide under each dual tire keeps the load off a single edge and makes the climb smoother. Ten blocks is enough to build a tall ramp or spread across two or three contact points at once.

The T-handle is the detail that makes these easy to live with. Thread the handle down through the stacked blocks, give it a twist, and it locks the whole set into one tidy brick you can carry with one hand. Pull up to carry, twist to lock it secure. No loose blocks rolling around the pass-through, no digging through a crate of mismatched wood. When you're done, restack them, lock the handle, and slide the bundle back into the storage bay.

These are molded from heavy plastic in the classic Camco brown, and they hold up to season after season of a loaded rig driving up and over them. They're light enough that anybody in the family can set them, which matters when you roll into a site after dark and just want to get level and start the awning. A couple of honest notes. Leveling blocks aren't wheel chocks, so always chock your wheels separately once you're level, especially on a slope. And on soft sand or deep mud, set the blocks on a firm board so they don't sink under the weight.
