Rounding it out: a 32-ounce bottle of Wash and Wax and an RV wash sponge for keeping the exterior clean and protected, a four-pack of 1-ply RV toilet tissue that dissolves quickly so it won't clog the black tank, and two standard levels to help you get the rig sitting flat on an uneven site. None of it is glamorous. All of it is stuff you'll use in the first weekend.

A couple of honest notes. This is a starter kit, not a full hookup overhaul. The sewer hose is a standard 10-footer, so if your site's connection sits far back you may still want a longer hose or an extension down the road. And the adapter steps a 30-amp rig down to household power, it doesn't give you 50-amp service or bump a 30-amp rig up to 50. For most owners getting going, though, this is the right starting point, and you can add the specialty pieces later once you figure out how you like to camp.
