DRS25ANXT/4 Radar Pedestal 4' Array - 15M Cable — Product description

Unlock Superior Maritime Awareness with Advanced Solid-State Radar Technology

Imagine navigating through dense fog, spotting distant vessels before they become hazards, or pinpointing bird flocks that signal prime fishing grounds—all with crystal-clear precision. The DRS25ANXT/4 delivers this reality through its cutting-edge solid-state Doppler radar system, designed specifically for serious mariners who demand reliability and performance on open waters. This powerhouse combines high-resolution imaging with intelligent target discrimination, transforming your helm into a command center for safer, more confident voyages.

Revolutionary Target Analyzer: See Threats Before They Emerge

One standout innovation sets this radar apart: the exclusive Target Analyzer function. As nearby objects move relative to your vessel, they dynamically shift colors—green for stationary or receding targets, red for those closing in. This visual cue works seamlessly regardless of your boat's speed or direction, alerting you instantly to potential collisions. No more guessing from cluttered screens; this Doppler-driven intelligence heightens situational awareness during busy harbors, night passages, or rough seas, giving you a proactive edge over traditional radars.

Fast Target Tracking for Swift Decision-Making

In high-stakes scenarios, seconds count. Fast Target Tracking acquires a selected target's speed and course vector almost immediately, overlaying it directly on your display. Whether evading crossing traffic or plotting intercepts, this rapid analysis simplifies complex maneuvers. Paired with automatic alarms for approaching vessels, it acts like an extra crew member, always vigilant. Boaters report fewer close calls and smoother operations, especially in congested shipping lanes or competitive sailing regattas.

Master Challenging Conditions with Specialized Modes

Weather and wildlife shouldn't dictate your plans. Engage Bird Mode to auto-optimize gain and sea clutter settings, revealing flocks at distances that elude standard setups—ideal for offshore anglers chasing bait balls. Switch to Rain Mode, and storm cells render in intuitive blue hues, letting you steer clear while maintaining clear views of underlying targets. These adaptive features ensure consistent performance from calm bays to squall-prone oceans, outperforming magnetron radars in clutter rejection and short-range detail.

RezBoost Technology: Compact Power, Expansive Reach

Furuno's proprietary RezBoost sharpens the beam for razor-like resolution, mimicking the clarity of much larger arrays without the bulk. With its 4-foot open array and narrow 1.9-degree beam width, expect exceptional target separation down to mere yards away. This means distinguishing small buoys from waves or individual birds in a flock, crucial for precision navigation and collision avoidance.

Seamless Integration for Modern NavNet Systems

Built for compatibility with TZtouch2 and TZtouch3 multifunction displays, setup is straightforward, leveraging plug-and-play networking for overlay on charts, sonar, and cameras. The 15-meter cable provides flexible mounting options, from flybridges to radomes, while the efficient 12-24 VDC power draw suits diverse vessels. Mariners upgrading from older pulse radars often cite the instant warm-up and zero maintenance as game-changers, freeing you to focus on the journey.

Elevate Your Boating Experience Across Scenarios

Coastal cruisers benefit from its short-range prowess for docking in low visibility. Offshore adventurers rely on long-range scanning for weather routing. Fishermen leverage Bird Mode for productivity boosts. Even recreational sailors appreciate the ARPA-like tracking of up to 100 targets per sweep, rivaling professional systems. This radar isn't just equipment—it's an investment in peace of mind, backed by Furuno's legacy of marine innovation.

Furuno DRS25ANXT 200 Watt Solid-State Doppler Radar with 4' antenna

Model: DRS25ANXT/4

The Furuno NXT Radar is the next step in Radar evolution; a Solid-State Radar with pulse compression, Target Analyzer™ and Fast Target Tracking™ utilizing Doppler technology. Combined with FURUNO exclusive RezBoost™ technology for beam sharpening, NXT packs the performance of a larger Radar in a more compact package.

NXT was the first Radar in the world to use the new Furuno exclusive Target Analyzer™ function, where targets that are approaching your vessel automatically change color. Green targets are targets that stay stationary, or are moving away from you, while red targets are moving towards your vessel. Target Analyzer™ works independent of vessel speed, both your own vessels and target vessels, with minor limitations. Echoes dynamically change colors as targets approach, or get farther away from your vessel. Target Analyzer™ can increase safety, as well as improve situational awareness.

Once a target has been selected, a speed and course vector is displayed in seconds. With accurate tracking information, estimation of other vessel's course and speed is greatly simplified. With Doppler technology, any vessel approaching yours will automatically display a target vector, as well as sound an alarm.

For the first time Furuno's exclusive RezBoost™ technology is used in one of our Radar units, with impressive performance. With RezBoost™ set to MAX, the sharpness of a much larger open array antenna can be achieved.
