It's a clean little grab handle that goes anywhere you need a hand-hold on the boat. PVC over nylon, soft to the touch, hardware hidden underneath.
The Sea-Dog 9-3/4 inch grab handle is the kind of part you don't think much about until you're climbing in or out of a boat in chop. The PVC coating gives you grip when your hands are wet. The injection-molded nylon underneath won't rust or break down in saltwater the way a chrome part would.
Mounting is clean. The fasteners are concealed under the handle, so you don't end up with screw heads showing on the finished install. We've put these on transom platforms, swim ladders, cabin entries, and gunwale rails. They hold up fine.
White finish keeps the boat looking neat. If you're adding several at once for symmetry, just confirm the spacing on your fastener centers. You'll need 6-1/4 inch between centers.
