Raymarine SeaTalkng to DeviceNet Male Adapter Cable - 1M — Product description

Imagine you're out on the water, charting a course through choppy seas, and your Raymarine instruments need to sync seamlessly with engine data from a DeviceNet-compatible system. That's where the Raymarine SeaTalkng to DeviceNet Male Adapter Cable steps in as your reliable bridge, ensuring smooth communication across networks without the hassle of compatibility headaches.

Seamless Network Integration for Marine Electronics

This 1-meter adapter cable transforms your SeaTalkng setup into a fully functional NMEA 2000 network participant. By converting SeaTalkng female to DeviceNet male, it allows Raymarine displays, autopilots, and instruments to interface directly with DeviceNet-based devices, such as certain engine monitoring systems. No more isolated data silos—get unified readouts of speed, depth, fuel levels, and engine performance right on your multifunction display.

Built for the Demands of the Open Water

Crafted with marine-grade materials, this cable withstands saltwater spray, UV exposure, and extreme temperature swings. Its rugged construction means it flexes without fatigue during long voyages, maintaining reliable connections even in rough conditions. Boaters trust it for its plug-and-play simplicity, reducing wiring clutter and installation time on everything from sportfishing boats to coastal cruisers.

Expanded Compatibility at a Glance

  • Works flawlessly with ST70 instruments for precise analog-style readouts.
  • Integrates with C-Series Widescreen Displays for enhanced situational awareness.
  • Supports SPX Autopilots, enabling responsive steering tied to network data.
  • Ideal for linking to NMEA 2000 backbones and DeviceNet engine interfaces.

Practical Installation Tips for Boaters

Getting this adapter up and running is straightforward. First, power down all systems. Connect the SeaTalkng end to your existing backbone or spur. Then, plug the DeviceNet male into the target device. Secure with cable ties to avoid strain, and route away from high-heat areas like exhausts. Test the network by powering up—your Raymarine units should immediately recognize new data sources. For best results, use genuine Raymarine terminators at network ends to prevent signal issues.

Why This Adapter Elevates Your Boating Experience

Beyond basic connectivity, it unlocks advanced features like shared alarms, waypoint data, and real-time diagnostics across your entire system. Skip the frustration of mismatched protocols and mismatched cables that fail prematurely. This adapter delivers consistent performance, helping you focus on navigation rather than troubleshooting. It's a small investment that scales with your setup, from basic tillers to sophisticated flybridge consoles.

Common Use Cases from Fellow Boaters

  • Syncing Volvo Penta or Cummins engines with Raymarine plotters for fuel-efficient routing.
  • Combining sonar data with propulsion stats on weekend fishing trips.
  • Upgrading older SeaTalkng networks to modern NMEA 2000 without full rewiring.
  • Enhancing autopilot response with live wind and current inputs.

Long-Term Reliability and Care

To maximize lifespan, inspect connections seasonally for corrosion— a quick wipe with a contact cleaner keeps signals crisp. Avoid sharp bends near connectors, and store spares in a dry locker. Backed by Raymarine's commitment to quality, it holds up voyage after voyage, minimizing downtime and keeping your electronics humming.

SeaTalkng to DeviceNet Male Adapter Cable - 1M

Adapts SeaTalkng to NMEA2000 network.

The cable (male) connecting Raymarine A06076 to Devicenet is adapted to Raymarine's proprietary cable system for use in the NMEA 2000 network. This design has two advantages. First, fix the connector collar on the product, which can reduce the diameter of the cable and make installation easier. More importantly, the cable can include a sixth wire for backward compatibility with SeaTalk1 devices. Products with SeaTalkng connectors can be used in NMEA 2000 networks that use Devicenet cables through simple connector adapters. On the contrary, devices with Devicenet connectors can be used in NMEA 2000 networks that use SeaTalkng cables through simple connector adapters.
