Know your network SeaTalkng or RayNet

A Raymarine system relies on its network and the cables that tie it together. This collection covers the accessories that finish and connect an install. SeaTalkng and RayNet cables, power and data leads, radar cables, display mounts and covers, transducer adapters, and autopilot parts are all included. The trick to ordering right is matching each accessory to your exact network type, display model, and autopilot.

Raymarine uses two backbones. SeaTalkng is the NMEA 2000 compatible network for instruments, sensors, and autopilot data. It is built with a backbone, spurs, tees, and terminators. RayNet is the high speed Ethernet link for radar, sonar, and sharing charts between displays. Confirm which network a device uses before you buy cables because the connectors are not interchangeable.

Match cables to length and connector

Power, data, radar, and daisy chain cables come in set lengths with specific connectors for each display generation like the Axiom and Element families. Measure the run and add slack for a clean route. Then match the connector to your unit. A cable that is the wrong length or connector will not seat so check both before ordering.

Mounts and covers protect the gear

Flush mounts give a clean dash and bracket mounts let you angle and remove the display. Sun covers shield the screen from UV and salt when the boat sits. This keeps the display readable for years. Match the mount and cover to your exact display size and model.

Autopilot and tiller parts

Raymarine offers pushrods, tiller brackets, pedestal sockets, and drive parts for tiller and wheel pilots. Match these to your specific autopilot model so the geometry and fit are correct. An autopilot relies on the right hardware to steer accurately.

Adapters keep your existing gear

Adapter cables let you bridge older SeaTalk to SeaTalkng or mate an existing transducer to a new display. You can keep hardware you already trust. The right adapter saves a full re wire or a transducer swap.
