Plan the wiring

Electric tabs need a switched 12 volt feed and the right gauge wire to the actuators. Run a clean circuit and protect it and mount the switch where the helmsman can reach it underway. Good wiring practice includes fusing at the battery and using marine grade terminals to resist corrosion in a saltwater environment.
