A sun and spray cover is cheap insurance for an expensive screen. Garmin offers magnetic and plastic covers sized to specific display models so match the cover to your exact unit and screen size. On a boat that sits on a trailer or a mooring that cover is the difference between a clear screen and a chalky one in a couple of seasons.
Flush mounts give a clean dash look while bracket and tilt mounts let you angle the screen and pull it for storage. Check the mount against your unit and the space behind the dash before you cut because a flush mount needs clearance for the connectors and the cable bend radius.
Garmin units share data two ways. NMEA 2000 carries engine data, sensors, and autopilot info. The Garmin Marine Network is a faster link for radar, sonar black boxes, and chart sharing between displays. Buy the correct cable type and length for each and add the tees, terminators, and adapters a clean backbone needs. Mixing up the two networks is the most common install snag so confirm which port you are feeding before you order.
Match the power cable to your unit and use transducer adapters when you are mating an existing transducer to a new head unit so you can reuse the in hull hardware. The right adapter saves pulling a transducer you already trust and know works. Not sure which accessory fits your model. Tell our techs your Garmin unit and what you are building and we will match the cover, mount, cables, and adapters so the whole system bolts up and talks to itself the first time you power it on. Always verify connector type and cable length against the installation manual for your specific model before ordering.
Garmin covers and mounts are sized to specific display models and screen sizes. Match the accessory to your exact unit and check mount clearance for connectors and cable bend before you cut the dash.

Often yes. A transducer adapter lets you mate an existing transducer to a new Garmin head unit so you can keep the in hull hardware you already trust instead of re installing a new one.
Power cables are matched to the unit and its connector. Use the cable specified for your model and size the wiring for the run so voltage stays up and the display powers reliably.
Yes. A sun and spray cover protects the screen from UV and salt which keeps the display clear and readable. On a trailered or moored boat it pays for itself in a couple of seasons.
