Choosing right comes down to matching the roller type to its job and the bracket to your trailer.
Keel rollers support the hull along the center of the trailer and let the boat slide on and off. Bow rollers and bow bells cradle the bow and stop it at the right spot. Side guide rollers keep the boat centered as you load. This matters on a windy ramp or in current. Identify what each position needs before ordering.
Brackets and roller assemblies fit common trailer tongue and frame sizes, usually 2 inch and 2 1/2 inch members. Match the bracket to your tube size and the roller shaft diameter so everything bolts up solid. A bracket that does not fit the frame wobbles and wears fast.
Rollers come in rubber and TPR thermoplastic rubber. TPR resists marking the hull and holds up to sun and use. Black rubber is economical. For a light colored hull choose non marking rollers to avoid streaks.
