What's the max range?
96 nautical miles with the 6-foot array. That's the on-screen maximum. Realistic detection on a small target is shorter (3 to 5 nautical miles on a buoy, 20 to 30 nautical miles on a ship). Long range on a coastline or weather front can run out toward the spec maximum.
Does MARPA target tracking work without a heading sensor?
No. MARPA needs a heading reference from a compatible NMEA 2000 heading sensor or autopilot to compute target course and speed. Without it you still get the radar picture, just no automated target tracking with vector overlays.
What's the warm-up time?
