What MEGA 360 Imaging actually does. The transducer pod sits below the waterline with the sonar transmitter rotating continuously through 360 degrees, sweeping the full circle around the boat. The result is a top-down photo-quality image of the bottom and structure in every direction around the boat, updating in real time as the transducer rotates. Compared to side imaging (which shows you the bottom out to either side of the boat as you move forward), MEGA 360 shows you everything around you simultaneously even when you're stationary.
