What G4N means and why it matters. G4 is the 4th-generation HELIX firmware revision. the "N" suffix indicates the Networked variant - the G4N has full Ethernet networking capability for connecting multiple HELIX displays, sharing sonar feeds across networked units, and connecting to MEGA Live and MEGA 360 imaging accessories that require Ethernet.
