The Lowrance Elite FS 10 with Active Imaging 3-in-1 Transducer is Lowrance's mid-tier 10-inch fishing system, sold as a turnkey kit with the transom-mount sonar transducer and C-MAP Discover Onboard charts both included. The included Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer. The kit includes the Active Imaging 3-in-1 transom-mount transducer pre-bundled - three sonar technologies in one transducer body. Traditional CHIRP sonar shows fish arches, baitfish clouds, thermoclines, and bottom structure in the classic vertical-down sonar view. SideScan imaging shows picture-like underwater imagery to the left and right of the boat out to 300 feet on each side - useful for systematically scanning structure, finding submerged trees and brush piles, and locating fish suspended off to the side of your track. DownScan imaging shows picture-like vertical-down imagery directly below the boat with high detail for individual fish, bottom composition, and structure identification. The 3-in-1 configuration means you don't have to buy separate transducers for each sonar mode - one transom-mount transducer covers all three. For owners who want the higher-resolution Active Imaging HD performance, the unit supports the optional S3100 sonar module that drives an Active Imaging HD transducer at substantially higher resolution and longer range - a meaningful upgrade path for serious tournament anglers.

FishReveal Smart Target View. The defining sonar software feature on the Lowrance platform - FishReveal overlays the traditional fish-arch returns from CHIRP sonar onto the picture-like DownScan imagery. 10-inch multi-touch display. The display is 10 inches diagonal, 1280x800 widescreen resolution, 1200+ nit brightness for direct-sunlight readability, multi-touch capacitive touchscreen for smartphone-like pinch/zoom/swipe interaction. The 1200 nit brightness rating is genuinely sun-readable - not the 500-nit consumer-spec that washes out in actual marine conditions. The 10-inch size is the sweet spot for bass boats and walleye boats where you want a substantial display but don't have helm space for the 16-inch HDS units.

C-MAP Discover Onboard charts. The unit ships with C-MAP Discover Onboard charts preloaded - 1-foot bathymetry contours for 19,000+ US lakes and 9,400+ Canadian lakes plus coastal charts. Internal 10 Hz GPS receiver with WAAS, MSAS, EGNOS, and GLONASS multi-constellation support. 10 Hz update rate is significantly faster than the 1 Hz typical of basic GPS receivers - matters for high-speed bass boating and tournament timing where 1 Hz GPS shows a stair-step boat trail at 50+ mph. Multi-constellation support delivers higher position accuracy in marginal sky conditions (forest cover, near tall structures).
